Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party
DFL SD 59 is a “grassroots,” all-volunteer organizing unit of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party. We represent Democrats in the following Minneapolis neighborhoods: downtown; northwest (from Glenwood Avenue north to the city limits); and the Nicollet Island/East Bank and Saint Anthony Main neighborhoods on the east side of the Mississippi. No matter who you are, where you live, or where you are from, the DFL is fighting for you!
We want to attract new people to the DFL, build party unity, and energize voters. SD59 provides voter outreach as well as financial and volunteer assistance to DFL endorsed candidates’ campaigns such as fundraising, literature drops, and door knocking.
